2007-2008 Texas Trombones

Welcome to the website of the University of Texas at Austin Longhorn Band Trombones, Home of the Stupid, and to the conclusion of many, the funniest, most active and most intelligent Trombone Section website that you will ever find in the Western Hemisphere. The Texas Trombones number roughly forty people every year with varying numbers of Section Leaders and Alternates. When we're on the field we have two ways of playing (loud and off) and one way of performing (well). When we're off the field we make it a mission to entertain ourselves with all manner of Stupidity.

Now, one mustn't confuse the Stupid with your everyday, run-of-the-mill stupid. The Stupid has been referred to as "meticulously organized stupidity" and "stupid, but with intelligence."
